I remember buying crushed glass from a body guy when I was in high school. mixed it with clear over the base coat then topped it off with more clear(no glass) At the time metal flakes were also available, but the price of the glass was more more affordable. you may want to check with a paint store
House of Kolor and DuPonts new Hot Hues both carry flake, from fine to Big Daddy huge flake, just be sure if you go with the larger you use a large tip to spray it.
Go to a hobby shop they sell the flake seperate and in different colors the only thing it
