Now I'm looking for a 1956 or older in similar condition for similar price. That will be a lot tougher. Plus I'd prefer a mercury.

5) 1977 F250 4x4 Monster truck $4000. added costs $500 and rising. (everytime someone comes to look at/buy it something breaks)
6) 1978 F150 Body Donor $500. Cost to ship from arizona $1000. Value of parts sold $200. Total cost $1300.
7) 1978 F350 Crew Cab $400. Cost added for repairs $500 and rising. Total Cost $900 for now...

68 F100 $500 running new daily driver; moderate bed rust. (Future pro street truck)
78 F100 $1500 81k original miles documented I drove for 1 year next restoration project for my 14 yr old daughter.
A couple of other parts trucks usually break even on cost after stripping parts for myself or friends.

1979 F150 4wd - $1500, mud drag rig, value ~ $28,000
1979 F150 2wd - $200, daily driver, mostly just fast... its worth a lot to me but thats it.
I've had numerous offers on the 68, 72, and 79 but I don't want to sell them... they're like family... creepy, huh?
