Alternator

Anybody a tech out there? What would I need to rebuild an alternator on the road? Would this be feasable?
Getting ready for Baja 1000. Going to Cabo,can't wait,Thanks,Mark

Mark really hard to do ---I recommend you just carry a spare...I know, I know, you have spares coming out your butt...really the tools needed are heavier then the replacement alt IMO

Bearings are press fit so you need vice and the right pullers and press back on stuff... get down to your local rebuilder and take a look at what they use...
