77 Shortbed F150
I've always had a fondness for this body style, even better it's got the granny-geared 4 speed I learned to drive on, and the tough as nails 300 I6.
Couldn't quite decide whether or not to bondo and roll it, leave it alone, or fix it up right.
After going to about 6 body shops, finally found one that wasn't more concerned about raking in insurance repairs.
Cheap paint job with bondo and fiberglass and paint all over: $1100
Good all over weld in new steel body panels and medium paint job all over that would make you look down to see if you were wearing bell-bottoms (same colors): $1800
I'm going to do it up right. Had to sell my '63 CJ5, but at least I can drive this one at highway speeds.

They start November 12th and I'll have it by Thanksgiving.
My question after all this rambling: The color code for '77, is it supposed to be copper and white or copper and tan? Think I prefer copper and white.
Also have a new set of tires and white wagon wheels coming today.
