If this keeps up we will have another huge depression that will be caused by the cost of diesel driving the price of everything up. I think the government needs to step in and regulate the price of diesel.

They are not going to regulate fuel. They are makeing 60% of that into their coffers!!!!
Oil is imported, so it gets taxed.
Then because its a govt controlled substance, it gets taxed again, then there are the taxes on hauling it to the refineries, taxes on refiening, and then pumping taxes, and taxes to the gas station. then there are fuel storage taxes adn then finally we have some nice sales taxon top of that!

People think the oil companies are the one's ripping us off and I don't disagree,but the one's really doing it our gov. with .30 to .60 of taxes on every gallon.Not to mention other taxes on the oil companies that are passed on to us through higher pricing,such as storage tax,bulk tank ta

Can't argue with you there fuelman, as a small business owner the gov seems to always be ripping me off one way or another. Although, when you see the oil companies making the best profits ever it really gets you wondering!!!
