Do they sell Bosch glow plugs in any chain stores or do you have to order them online. Also does my year truck have the U.V.C.H. retaining clip already on it or would I need to go to a dealer for that.
I just want to get everything togeather before I go and do this.
Oh and how about anti-sieze on the threads would that be a good idea or is there a problem I dont see with that.
Thanks as always.
when i got my uvch harness the chips were on the harness already and looked like they were not able to be removed. as for the bosch thing, i dont know, i put international glow plugs back into my psd

i think only early 99 had clip problems. you stock UVC harness has those clips, so you dont need anything extra IIRC. but get the clips to be on the safe side, dont open them up , and if you dont use them you can always return them
I know both NAPA and O'reilly's can get the Bosch GP's. I would stick with the Motorcraft/Beru plugs though. I replaced mine with 170K on them when I put new injectors in, while I was in there, and my stock ones looked great. They are avaialble at both places as well. IMO, no need for anti-seize on those threads.
Your truck may have the clips already on them. Mine didn't have them when new (also a 2000 model) but they were put in by a dealer before I bought the truck, as indicated on an OASIS report. This was verified by my eyes when I was in there. If you don't have them, you'll want to get them though.
my early build 2001 did not have the clips from the factory i had to install them after the harness had come loose twice. i would also reccomed staying with motorcraft/beru glow plugs
