I have a 2004 f 250 6.0 i have diablo preditor programer latley at stop lights and idle it idles high and even jumps alittle..then check engin light comes on and p 2285. I was running the performance tune so i tried changing tune and cleared codes the code came right back and problem still there..im guessing it is the icp sensor but not for certian?? any ideas and any idea how mcuh it cost of if it is covered by 100000 mile warrenty? truck has 28000 miles and been running tunner for about a year with no problems..help please thanks
Sounds like a bad ICP sensor, should be coverd under 3/36 & 5/100K and possibly emissions warranty, provided your dealer doesn't have a problem with your mods.
What is the build date of your truck/motor? Early build date had the ICP under the turbo, 04 SD with engine build date after 09/29/2003 have it in the right valve cover.
It's the early 04 located under the turbo. I can put my performance back to stock for warrenty purposes. I have a bigger down pipe and cadalic converter gone. I have no emissions where I live.

Wether or not your state inspects for emissions is irrelevant to causing warranty problems by removing the CAT. Federal law mandates that tampering with emissions devices by professional shops or working on vehicles with emissions systems that have been tampered with can result in hefty fines against the shop. So your dealer may or may not be concerned about working on your truck with missing emissions components.
