You should have a minimum of 20 psi to get it started. 40-70 running.

Sorry it took so long, here's a picture of the IPR opening in the HPOP.

BTW: The bolt you see at the bottom is the pin going through the IPR opening. It hold the edge filter in place.

Yep, it's not a filter, like a screen, it's actually a piece of steel with grooves cut in the end and It is spring loaded. I will post a pict of it.

Yep!
That's the back side of the screen. That was installed at the time of the new IPR. The old style IPR had what was called edge filter on the end of the IPR.

They still call it the edge filter after the move into the pump.

...RICK...
Kansas has not had the time to figure his issue out yet (no time).
Possible his problem might be electric also. (loss of IPR voltage after ign sw goes from start to run). Hands on is easyier than Keyboard troubleshoot on this one.

You know how it goes.
Also when the 17* pump came into service an additional screen was added in the HPOP Res.

You are saying the bolt & the pin are one & the same?

If the bolt is removed ,the pin comes out?,,,Which way does the filter come out?....

The bolt is like you would see in a rear diff to remove the pin.
I have never tried to remove a screen. I have been told you cannot.
If it can be remove from that side of the pump. I believe that you can clean/service it. Just have been told you cannot.

The reason I asked is , the bolt & the pin aren't 90 degrees to each other....
