tech question

can anyone tell me the correct timing for a '78 ford f100 with a 302? thanks in advance...

well I looked at my dads 78 f150 302 and the sticker says 2deg btdc

Fuel Vacuum leak ?

For vacuum hose leaks..use an unlit propane torch pointed at vacuum connections

Not 302's are set the same.

they vary from 6* - 12* BTDC .....It depends on numerous things.

axle ratio,transmission type,state of operation,altitude

The calibration code on the white sticker on the valve cover is the key to the engine specs.
