I dont know since the Ford 500 which replaced the taurus back in 05 sales slumped so a new guy came into ford and they where redesigning the 500 for 08 to increase sales and what not so he decided to put the taurus badge on

yeah that basically sums it up. no one recognized the 500 name, so they went back to a name everyone knew. some of the early taurus' weren't the greatest, but i know a few people who have the later ones and they've been pretty decent cars.

I think the problem is that the Fusion is doing really well and blackballing the Taurus.

Yeah 500 is nice but i know many people who had later model taurus and wow have had them for about 300,000 kms without much trouble

i really like the black with chrome accessories, and white with chrome. they are my favorites, and i like that weird blue/purple they have too.
i seen a sweet green '07 f150 yesterday, wasn't a normal green either, factory color, but more like a kahki/different green. sort of like the green on the new escapes.
