Well sherm if you ever sell it, i would be happy to give you the least amount of money possible you would take for it to help you get a minivan

There is only like 3 manufactures that still make mini-vans. I think it's Dodge, Honda and I forget the third. Everything is a crossover now. I'd take a freestyle over a mini-van anyday. A mini-van is a terrible vehicle to work on!

A crossover suv slash car kind of like a station wagon

BUT for 08 they changed the look and name now its called the Tauras X
and the Ford 500 was changed for 08 (looks) and now called the Tauras again so they brought it back they really look pretty good for a sedan

i really like those x-overs. the freestyle needs a bigger tank, so i've heard, don't know much about the taurus' yet, other than they can't keep them on the lot!!

Hmm...Didn't know of the name change. Now it just sounds stupid. Probably gonna cause some confusion at the parts desk. Looks decent though.

They are nice looking vehicles. Looks a lot better than a mini van, just hope they can hold as much.

Sliding doors have a lot more problems than double doors. My family has had 3 full size vans and 1 mini-van. The first two had sliding doors and they both wore out. You had to slam the door like 5 times to get it to latch. Finally when they got the 3rd van a sliding door wasn't an option. This one has the double side doors and haven't had a single problem with it and it offers just as much loading room.

The newer mini-vans are a little better since the power assist takes over minimizing force required but if you damage that track slightly good luck getting that door to open or close.

I think they need to let the whole taurus name die out!

That freestyle is.. unique. Too close to a minivan for my liking.
