more power from the 360
My truck does not see the road from Oct. - april. This winter I want to get as much power out of the rebuilt 360 as possible for towing my 7000 lb. trailer in the hills of vermont. What's the word. How big can you go with that block?

[font size="1" color="#FF0000"]LAST EDITED ON 10-Jun-01 AT 08:35 PM (EST)[/font][p]get a 428 crank and rods and Mercury 410 pistons (I've heard TRW 390 flattops can be machined to work pretty easily) and have them checked to clear the deck and you'll have a 410ci engine. The less you bore the stronger your cylinder walls will be. expect to pay around 400+ for the crank but it'll add a lot of torque.
