I'm looking to put a 360 into a 56 f100, my question is are the engine mounts the same on a ford 360 from a 67 f100 to a ford 390 ?
And has anyone turned the 360 into a 390 ?
I don't have an answer to your questions, but I thought I'd stop in and say Welcome to FTE!
Hi just bought the truck yesterday, so pretty excited, I have the power train from a 1967 f100 360, 3speed standard, and 9 inch diff, was thinking out putting into this project

352 used 1965/67, 360/390 used 1968/76. When you say mounts, what are you referring to, the rubber insulators?
If so, C7TZ-6038-H Right & C7TZ-6038-J Left: 1965/66 F100/250 352 2WD - 1966 F100 352 4WD - 1967 F100/350 352 - 1968/76 F100/350 360/390.

1968/76 F100/350 360/390's share the same block, the bore is the same (4.05"), the stroke is different. 360: 3.50" vs 390: 3.78."
To convert a 360 to a 390, all you need is the 390's crank, rods, pistons and rings...and that's it! Everything else is the same.

The simple answer for the mount is yes, same block. If you are thinking of going more cubes, why stop at 390? You can go to 428 with that block with a appropriate stock crank and you can go real big with a stroker crank for pretty cheap these days.
I have a set of headers for 390 FE which fit my 1951 which has a frame 2" narrower than yours. They are rust free and only have a few thousand miles. One tube was squeezed a bit to clear the steering. That could be helpful or easily fixed. Shipped, I'm asking $120.
