good deal?
I just come across a 79 F-250 Ranger, well it has 460 and a c-6 and a 205?? its kinda rusty and comes with an extra bed. The guy only wants 400 bucks for it. so is it a good deal or no?

any pretty complete truck under $500 and you should be able to make $$. At least that has been my experience. As has been said the 460/c6 is a desirable combo. The 205 will sell for sure and the bed(s) as well. I'd buy it.
I usually pick up a cheap parts truck and snag the parts I want/need, then sell the rest of the stuff for profit. I get the parts I want for free and even get paid a little for my time investment...
