headlight switch

I just broke the plastic handle off my headlight switch. The handle cracked and left the little metal retainer on the switch rod. Now for my questions. Is this a dealer only part? Can I get just the handle or do I have to buy the switch? Thanks for the input!!!

The easiest would be to go to a junk yard. There are so many models with the exact same ****, and it would probably be cheaper. Though I can't imagine it being very expensive. The rest of the **** comes off with a pic or something small. Inside the plastic there is a little metal tab that kinda works like a chinese (sp) finger trap. You can't pull it off, but if you put a pic in there to push that metal tab, it will slide right off. so to answer your question, no, you don't need the whole switch.
