I went to several auto parts stores to buy some new battery cables for my 1995 F-150 5.0l XLT. Two of the stores told me that was a ford product? and one tried to sell me something that did not resemble the cables on my truck! Well, I checked the for parts dept, they wonted $125.00 for the set! what the heck is going on? Are those things made of gold? Never the less, I need some help !Can I get the cheaper?
On the 95s the pos cable is a strange beast it's got a flange at the relay that connects to both posts and a small red wire (about 12ga) that goes in there too. Y'all don't get upset but Autozone can get you one for $49.00, but I didn't just say that.
As the guy said they are a strange looking set of cables. I would be glad to make some but there sre two big cables and a small wire cable in that one bundle of cable, all of this is new to me.

Same setup that's on my 94 that I just bought. Matter of fact, that was one of the selling points that the former owner hit upon when we were discussing the truck. He had just replaced his.
I need to replace the same positive battery cable! Do you have a part # for the pictured cable that I have on my 1994 f150 5.0? If I can get it at Autozone, that would be great. Thanks!
