thats typical lol this means only one thing , more money............there are so few suppliers here its a nightmare getting the rite part . do all 81's on use the same damper ie the 50oz inbalance even if it doesnt say so in the catalogue. i only ask because the only ones that say they are a 50oz tend to be the performance ones ( expensive)and all i want is an OEM one.
Look at the notes under '78-81 and '81 to '84 blocks on this link: http://www.cehighperformance.com/for..._car_codes.htm
they mention vibrations from not using the specific balancer listed. I've got an E0AE block with the E1TE balancer. Haven't run it yet, but coworkers at the Ford dealer warned me about serious vibrations from changing the balancer or flexplate.
If you need a stock one, I have extras. The sticky part is the shipping to get it "over there". If I have the chance, I need to go to the local post office to check on shipping something else to Australia via Priority Mail, I can check on doing a damper too if you're interested.
thanks for the offer baddad457 but i have found one in the UK , all the parts will be with me by wed's this week so hopefully by the weekend i will have it all sorted out.
