Fueling a 7.3IDI (ATS)

As far as I can see, it is the G code injectors to be used when adding a turbo kit on a NA7.3IDI, please correct me if I'm wrong.
Question is, what to do with the IP.

Can the IP be used as it is, turning the mixture/fuel screw up or is it necessary to have it replaced with one specially made for this stunt?.

Another one, if I add an external electrical fuel pump, taking the old one away, will this cause trouble due to feeding the IP.
Does the IP need a curten flow and PSI in order to work correct, and does it need its delivery to be constant?.

13 PSi of boost are the safe side, I've been told.
If you exceed this,what fails?.

Thanx,
Helge :-)

G code injectors are for the 94 factory turbo motor only.......
E code are for the 92.5 engines......

Look at the engine build date punched out on the sticker on the timing cover of your engine...... Normally the injectors and IP stay the same when adding a turbo.... all your doing is adding more air.

IPs can be turned up slightly, but pyrometers are mandatory......

Electrical fuel pumps are ok they should be installed engine side of the FSValve..... Some members use Holley Red others use less expensive ie...

Napa Balkamp Universal Fuel Pump Kit: Part #610-1050; ~$36 out the door; 4-6 psi at 35GPH. Put it on the frame rail, just after your fuel selector valve, and let it push the fuel to the Fuel Filter. If you do an electric get a chebby big block fuel pump blockoff plate to cover the hole when you remove the manual lift pump. Azone I think $6

The manual lift pump was ........
Pressure Rating: 4 lb - 6 lb
Gallons Per Hour: 23

To much boost usually blows the head gaskets before it damages anything else.

Mine is a little extreme, I have blown the valley pan where it acts as an intake manifold gasket and I have blown an exhaust manifold gasket as well.

I have internal engine mods and my max boost is about twice what you are talking though.

Mr.Sponaugle.
What I'm trying to figure out is, Stock IDI which I will add the ATS kit on, what do I need to do with the fueling system to get this mother working.
I will feed the IP with an electrical pump, what psi/flow are needed here?
Lowering the compression with new pistons-what to bay?
Different cam shaft-turbo cam-where to bay
I'm re-building the heads, new valves and rockers, o-ring the surface due to head gasket problems, installing head studs.
Do I need to use a rebuild IP and different injectors due to more fuel delivery or is it enough to risen the pop of pressure?.
What's your history behind your motor, need plenty advice here.
Please PM if you can help me.
