So what is "live tuning"? Can you vary some of the parameters within a given tune setting?
With live tuning Jody can customize just about anything you want. Don't like the shift pattern or firmness? He can change that with a few keystrokes, load it on the truck, and drive it to test. Then repeat until you think it's perfect. He can add fuel, take fuel out, change throttle tip in, raise ICP, change timing, etc. His out of the box files are some of the best you can buy, but my truck is completely different since he live tuned it.
I've ran both DP-Tuner and TS Performance on my truck.....I think 3 different DP programs (2 with stock trans, 1 with BTS) and 2 different TS Programs (one with stock trans, one with BTS).
I like the TS better with my current setup, more responsive and I like the shifting better.

Hey, that is a fresh outlook. Again I have always said the TS is a good chip/tune. I just like the DP better.
Thanks for the great input, sounds like DP is the favored. Sounds like TS has a problem with proper shift pressure control. I have the opportunity to get a TS for my truck for next to nothing, maybe that's y....I guess I'll start save'n my pennies for a DP.
Out of all the different settings you can get for the DP, which ones are the most used on a day to day. I mean do you need anything more than a good tow setting, an economy setting, and then one for fun? You could have 8 settings and really only use three most of the time, what's the most used?
