new process 5 speed ID?

I have an old New Process cast iron 5 speed that I'm trying to identify. All i know is that it came out of a mid to late 60's dump truck and has a 1:1 top gear. It was mated to a spicer 5831 auxillary transmission and has the normal NP aluminum top cover and aluminum rear bearing retainer.

Cast into the side after the NP cog is "G-91861"

If anyone could help me ID this thing I'd really appreciate it!

The Spicer 5831 was used on GMC 5000 and heavier trucks. It is a 3 speed with low, direct and overdrive. Still working on more info on the spicer tranny.

From all I can find it looks like it is an NP-540 series. Is this what it looks like?

Can you figure out what the first gear ratio is?

yeah, i know all about the 5831. that's why i picked it up, thinking about a cheap OD. But now circumstances are forcing me to unload a bunch of stuff, so i'm trying to figure out what 5 speed it is. See if it's worth me keeping or not.

See how many rotations of the input shaft it takes to turn the output shaft once with it in 1st gear. That will help narrow down the model number.

did some more asking around and came up with it being a 1:1 NP 540.

There were a couple of different models with the 1:1 5th though. Knowing the gear ratio for first gear would narrow it down.
