I am looking at a truck that my neighbor has for sell. It is a 4x4 77 f250 with dual rear wheels. Does anyone know if this would be a factory option or has someone added the dual rear wheels? My neighbor does not know as the truck was that way when she purchased it. However it does not seem to be botched up and the axle bolts, springs etc seem to have the same amount of slight rust as the rest of the truck. It has a newer 8' steel flatbed but the rest of the truck seems to be original. Just wondering...
I did not pay that much attention to the front wheels. She has it for sale and I looked at the common items, tire wear, engine, tranny shifting etc. I did see that it had the 250 badging on the front and it really suprised me because it looked just like a run of the mill f350. It has a nearly new 8' steel flat bed with wood sides. I am looking for something to use around the farm and possibly put a hoist on one day but I don't want to be limited due to the fact that it is a 250 and not a 350. She only wants $1500 for it and other than a brake job it is in very good mechanical shape
Do what the guy said in the last sentence of his post. Folks then will decipher the information and tell you alot of things you never knew about your truck.
