Does anyone know how to remove...

I need to remove my center, overhead console to get to the compass...

Any help would be appreciated.

Do you have a full overhead console or a short one (used with moonroof)? On my 98 (and I think yours is the same) w/full console you open the glasses holder and there is a screw you remove in the center. After this it will pull down off of some spring clips.
