keyless entry question...
I am totally excited about the new to me 2007 F250 PSD, 25400 mile, Lariat I now own!
Thanks for all the comments, threads, and information this site has provided.
Tomorrow will be maintenance day for oil and fuel systems since I cant be postive on the last changings and can then baseline from there.
The real question though is:
The truck did not come with the card for the factory set 5-digit code for the keyless entry. The owners manual stated that the code is marked on the computer module. Where is the module so I can pull the code or is it best I go to a Ford dealer and let them do it?

I'd complain to the dealer about the missing card...then have them hook up the computer to retrieve the code. They have the ability to do that. Should be at no cost to you as the card wasn't in the owner's manual.

Read through these posts, they will tell you where to find the code. Most dealers will charge you to hook up their computer and find the code.

In the newer trucks it tends to be hidden behind some of the white foam sound deadening material.
I'm with BPofMD, if you just bought it take it back and tell them you want them to read the code from the computer for free. It only takes them a few minutes.
