ok i got a set of newer style rims the crome ones with flat style nut and looking for one to put on my truck 1994 f150 and the new style nut is 1/2 20 tread count someone please help me
How new are rims and stockers? According to the ford spect book 97 up rims will not fit (metric) They are close but no dice the bolt pattern is different .
thanks but found out the hard way
so know i will sale them and buy the correct lug
i did not know the ford changed the lug
they are off an 97and up Aluminum wheels with center caps and lugs
had to try did not get lucky this time
I have been looking into swapping newer rims on my 94 also.. From what I have gathered, the newer rims cam be made to fit, by drilling the lug holes out to a 7/8" . Since the new rims are hub encentric and the older rims are lug ecentric. I have been looking for a set of rims cheap so I can expriement with, just to be sure though.
