Rim conversion
I know this is and odd one but has anyone ever swapped the new style 5 lug one f150 s for the old style rims. 97-00 too the old 5.5 on 5 specifically an 82 f150. I belive all you need too do is drill the lug nut holes out a bit or is there something here that makes it impossible too do accurately enough. Thanks in advance

the best thing to do is get a set of adapters. I know they had them so you could put a 5.5 on 5 wheel on the 97-03 trucks. So I'm sure they make them to go the other way around. I personally have seen 1 82-6 truck with a set of 97-03 steels on it here in the Pittsburgh area. But that was several years ago.
