more problems with my 99 Please help

EGR valve?
I had a similar issue with mine. Simple troubleshooting step: remove the vacuum hose from the top of the EGR valve and go drive it to see if it stopped the problem. I changed out the EGR after getting the CEL code read, and immediately the EGR went bad. Same CEL code. Same signs/symptoms. Removed the hose to make sure it was the EGR and the engine ran smooth under a load. Replaced with OE EGR 
and VOILA no more problems.

Egr has been replaced also DPFE, plugs, wires, coil packs, fuel filter, air filter, fuel pump, cleaned the maf, replaced tps........and if the cats where plugged it would not surge at the last 1500 or so rpm's before shift. So I am at odds as to what ever it is. Luckily I got it inspected before the check engine light came on again after clearing codes and waiting for all the not reay's to ready. Thanx anyway but this is a little bit more than a simple fix...........oh yea also pulled the ENTIRE intake apart upper and lower cleaned the EGR ports that were cpmpletely clogged and it just seems to get worse. 52 miles per $ 20.00 of gas maybe it's just the whole damn motor..lol maybe I'll put a chevy motor in it.
