solid cam

Thinking of useing a solid cam in my new 306 short block,anyone on some info on what i need to do to the block if any.

nothing to the block....you are going to need adjustable rockers.

what heads do you have?
your going to have to do some machine work to them.

The heads are e7 ported,1.94 valves.the 306 is going it to a 91 ranger i pick up for a play toy.i allso like the sound of the solid cams plus can make a little more power.

you will need to get the pedestal mounts machined down and the holes taped out, go 7/16 X 7/16 on the studs. guide plates and hardened pushrods and full roller rockers.

I like solids..I wish the clevor was a solid... if you have to keep adjusting them you have a problem, that's why I like them.
