code 53?

I'm trying to figure out this code:

53- TP circuit above maximum voltage..

anyone know what that means? -is it stuck open? -is it getting too much voltage? A short somewhere? I need some direction with this, can anyone help me out with this one?

TP sensor is stuck/sticking or just plain bad. It would be a good idea to get a replacement.

yep yep replace it every ford i've owned with the mfi i've had to put one on they arent but about $30
