I agree. I have the real Nathan K5LA ones and boy are they loud. They are cast aluminum so technically they could be polished but that is alot of work and maintenance.

I had a buddy that works for CSX and he had them laying around at the house. We became such good friends that he decided... then again I talked him into selling them to me. Alcohol and a campfire were involved but he was still glad to do it in the morning. I jumped on it immediately, ran to the ATM before he even got out of his camper the next morning. I woke him up with money in hand and a biscuit from town.
