96 Ex Headlight problem!
Ok, the drivers side dim on my 96 Explorer doesnt work at all, bright works, new bulb(s) hoping the problem was that simple, it wasnt.
All fuses and relays are in workin order.
I've heard it may be a problem with the MFS, can anyone verify?

Im having the same issue on a 96 xl (4.6l). I have checked all the fuses and relays. Including; left and right low beams, headlights etc. Im not sure if there is a switch of some sort that is affecting it.
High beams and day time running lights are working perfect.

If you have a message center, the lamp out module (LOM) is bad. If you remove the message screen you can see it. It is a plastic box on the floor of the console with a 12 or 13 wire harness going to it. I was able to fix mine by openning it up and resoldering some of the connections that had broken. The repair lasted for about a month and then I went for a new module--about $70
