D66 and 2's is a great setup as well. Very reliable, no issues with the setup yet. Good luck Neal

That's where I'm going Steve. After reading this great post I've just about made up my mind. Stage 2's, D66 or H2e, already have the 17* HPOP. Regulated fuel (homemade). Bigger DP to fit the turbo (??) am I right that the turbo has a larger exh outlet. I'll cut the firewall out if necessary. Oh ya, not sure on the IC, I should be able to get away with a 6 oh. Okay I'm done jackin this thread. I'll start one when I get around to it.

This thread has been very informative to me on my turbo choice. I have been trying to get turbo advice on my setup in two different threads here before, but it looks to have finally been answered in this thread. Sadly it wasn't a complete consensus on whether or not to use the H2E or D66 with stage 2's. More seem to highly recommend the H2E, so I presume that is a much better option.

thanks to those that have posted useful information.

yeah i would go with the H2E... nothing against the D66... it's a GREAT turbo.. but stage 2s would really put it at it's peak performance... no room to grow if you know what i mean

I agree with glass. I wanted the d66 but I have high hopes for the ole' girl. I have been trying to get this useful info also and I had to pull pretty hard in this thread and ask the same question again and again till I got the answers I was looking for. I knew I had some pretty intelligent people following it so I didn't give up, even though I wanted to at times. Long story short I guess I will have to nurse the stock till I get enough for the H2E. I will not get the modded one yet but if I decide to later it is only $51.00 more than if I got it from the start. No biggie. I still need more info on connections to the uppipes, etc. but I have enough to make an educated decision.
