with the injectors in I could not even find out what side was leaking. I removed fuel lines, presurized, everything I could think of. If you take out the injectors you don't need to pressurize the cooling system, coolant just runs out into the cup and down into the cylinder. If you search this forum for "diesel in coolant" you'll see my discussion with the others. If you need more help i'll keeping checking back.

If you're doing this job, make sure you get the right loc-tite, #62000. The parts guys hard time finding it and tried to tell me all the green stuff is the same (and the numbers are similar)- it's NOT. I also used "ship shape" from Active Chemicals to clean out the cooling system. I don't know where to buy it, I got it from a diesel mechanic.

here is the link to the thread, and if you have any questions about the special tools let me know, I've built both the removale and instal tool. It's realatively easy. Get the cups and injector o-rings from international. Cups are about $10 each vs $40 from ford and same for the rings.

I totally fluked out! I pulled the easiest injector to get to, drivers side front (don't know the cylinder #) saw coolant leaking, replaced that sleeve and put it back together. It's been fine since. I'm keeping my eye on the bottle for more diesel, cause the rest may go, who knows. I thought if we (on this site) could keep track, there may be a common cup to fail.
