Pulling the lines doesn't clear the heads. It will will push it all the way out within a few seconds.

Why would your fuel system be holding static pressure? Mine drops to 0 within a minute of shutting off the truck.

Thanks......

In Alldata it says you have to drain the fuel rails, so that is what I followed. Maybe that is not necessary. But, if you don't and pressure drops to 0, won't fuel run out of the lines anyway? Just trying to get this straight incase I have to do it again.

I can post part numbers tonight if I can find the reciepts. And yes International is about half to a quater the price of ford.

I don't know what an alldata is, but there is no prep work necessary. I simply disconnect the two output lines from the filter can, and apply 20 or so PSI to the coolant degas bottle.

If there are bad injector cups it is obvious almost instantly as the remaining fuel and air *spurts* out of the end of the line connected to the head with the bad cup.

I tried it the other way. I took the lines off and pressurized, with air, to the psi of the fuel system. I had the thermostat out and coolant filled right to the top. The coolant didn't move. Not sure why air pressure works one way and not the other? But, if I have to do it again I'll try it your way.

Alldata is a computer Haynes manual, basically.

99sevenpoint3, I can't find the part #'s, looked all weekend, sorry.
