Horsepower/torque Rating

I tried to search , but I don't have much luck with searches.
Anyway , can someone give me Ratings for a 1998 Explorer with the 302/5.0L engine?

I'm not sure what the factory rating were, but suffice it to say that's a sweet motor. It will have HP and TQ numbers very similar to the 5.0 HO, and even more potential.

Horsepower 215 @ 4200 RPM
Torque 288 @ 3300 RPM

Ditto, horsepower and torque specifications for 5.8L H.O./C6

Does anyone know the original torque and horsepower figures for the 1984 F150 Supercab XLT 2WD C6 w. 5.8L H.O. 4V Holley? I know that bhp is around 210-217. I believe that torque is 300 lb. ft. or above. Anyone know exactly?

210HP @ 4000rpm and 305lb/ft TQ @ 2800rpm.

Thanks for the help. According to another source , the 98 Explorer 5.0L has the GT40 heads with a cast version of the Cobra intake. Punch it out .030 and a little tweaking and it ought to be awesome in my Ranger!

Yes, with a simple cam upgrade that motor will produce over 300hp.

I got those online, but you will find similar specs in various publications like service manuals and performance books. Be aware, all these numbers have a +/- 10% tolerance for sure. The factors influencing mass production, ie: Drunk/stoned/pissed-off/sleeping workers, means you probably won't find 2 copies that are the same.
