Unhappy Wtf? Help!

this is driving me NUTS! me, and two of my buddys who went too lima for diesel.
well, the other day on a trip too MI, my truck 94' F-250 would die after it would idle down. after limping most of the way home, it quit acting up.. seemed too run fine, and by the time I got home it ran as good as ever.. the next day, too and from work (20 miles each way) it sputterd just once.. very little.. and then ran fine.. today, went too leave for work, and it would crank fine, but wouldn't catch at ALL.. gave up and drive my dads truck too work. well tonight I went out and cranked it some more.. no luck... took off the air cleaner thinking it was clogged, NOTHING.. took the fuel lines off after the filter, cranked it and had what seemed like plenty of fuel.. (just a guess though) hooked them back up and still nothing.. gave it a sniff of either, fired up, sputterd a bit, then ran fine.. shut it down and started it up a few times and seems too be 100% fine again..
I've got NO idea whats wrong.. the only trouble code it's giving me it PCM KAM ERROR.. (keep alive memory) thanks for any input... don't want too end up stranded somewhere..

sounds like a high pressure oil issue. Try testing fuel pressure at the schrader valve. also if you can get your hands on a scanner of some sort it would be nice to know what ICP pressure is

Careful with the ether, but you already knew that. If your FP is OK, 40-70 psi at idle then, I second the high pressure oil. Before your next start check the HPOP level. There is a tin nut on the IPR that can get loose and cause all sorts of aggrevation. Don't over tighten it. The KAM code is notheing to worry about, it just shows you lost battery power to the PCM. A good scanner will clear that code.
