Transmission Noise
Need some advice.Just recently got an 02 F450 the guy I bought it from used to pull a backhoe around.I need help on identifying a noise coming from the front of the trans.With the inspection cover off you can hear the noise more noticeably.It sounds like when starter gets stuck you know that rattle noise.The noise is there only in nuetral or park. Once in drive or reverse noise goes away.Truck has 59000 miles on it should I be changing out the filter and oil .If so what kind of oil and would the napa filter be good enough.I think the was seviced before.ANY ADVICE OR HELP!!!! THANK YOU

thats what i was thinking too. Mine is VERY noisy. Probably atleast 50% of my engine noise is my TC rattle 
. But i'll keep runing it until it breaks. And it might not be too long after my DP tuner and a few sled hooks next summer.

Is the 5r100 TC good for the price?(everyday driving,towing 11000lbs once a month)or should i save up and get a billet one time.Thanks.......
