Removable bucket seats. Every time that I need to get under the dash I am glad that I made the seats removable. I can have both seats out in less than a minute and the same to reinstall.
I seem to be jinxed when it comes to posting pics on threads but my favorites are the "sectioned" cab, the over-sized rear window and the custom-scooped hood. Oh, hell the pics are in my gallery
I guess this console/armrest is a custom Mod. but I would like input from others as to whether you like it or not.
The stem is double thick wall 1' sq. tubing and can be easily removed if I do not like it.
There is so little room inside a 52 and I wanted a drink holder and arm rest at least.
It is also handy as a grab handle to get into the seat for a large old guy!
I wanted a double cup holder but just no room. It will be be padded and covered when I do the interior.

You are very much on the right track Bill. If I could suggest a little bit of mill work around the edges and maybe paint the inner flat areas the color of the dash, it's a touchdown! Go for it!
