I have to say folks.....The mods on here sure get one to thinking what to do, who to copy and how?????
This thread just ruined any progress I was hoping to make this weekend. Now I'll just be sitt'n there looking at the truck wondering what I can do to be different??? I'm all outta' options and I ain't tried nothin' yet......
some great ideas. My only contribution to modified (other than drivetrain) appearances will be my stick shifter.....a Moosehead beer tap, since the colors will match my green/ivory motif. Which at this rate will be 10 years from tomorrow.
PS: I think I may be the first and last to use the word "motif", sorry.
I have too many mods that I like...if I didn't like it, I wouldn't have it, right? However, my two favorite mods are my interior, and wheel wells. I wanted to be different with the interior, something that others haven't done, or at least not to the extent that I went to. As to the wheel wells, I made them from a trailer fender, and they turned out better than I expected.
I've done a ton of modifications on my truck, the latest was fabricating my own inner fenders. No need to remove the front end or outer fenders to install them or remove them. Sorry not the greatest pic.
Here's my original inner fenders... Can you say acetylene torch?
