I have none of my own to share at this point but Bobbytnm's caddy valve covers and 51 dueller's frame swap are two of my favorites.

I have to agree 100%.
Its great the way we keep each other going, sharing ideas and medthods.
This is exactley why I've put off finising my truck anytime soon, you never know when someone will come up with some great mod that you just have to have..... Well that money and time, I guess factor into it as well.
You know what I mean.....

The thing that bothers me the most on a stock truck is the wheels not centered in the wheelwells. Get er down out of the wind a wee bit and I'm happy. JMO......Rod

my favorite mod(if I have to pic just one) to my truck would probably have to be my drip rail...i have seen very..very few ever done like this. It is very time consuming and pain-stakingly annoying to do..but I think it is well worth it. check out the gallery, I believe I need to upload some new pics..haha

also my custom color-matched bedliner is a nice addition, although I probably will never haul anything in the bed..there's another contender for favorite.

cannot forget the Mustang II IFS or the 9"...love those, and the 351W/Auto

can't wait till I get to step-notch the rear with a 4link and bag it..drop the boards on the ground..YEA!

Favourite Mods – to 54 F100

Sorry to be so late joining this thread, but I was waiting until I had the box finished as it is detailed below - ....As mentioned today in another thread – I’ve finally finished the box on my truck.

I’m only listing body mods, not mechanical mods…I can’t really pick just one as a favourite, so I’ll rank them in order of preference – 1, 3, 8, 2, 6, 5, 4, 7. (Pics of all of these can be found in my galleries.)

1 . Custom grill (copy of Jim Richmond design) combining 54 F100 headlight buckets and 54 Pontiac grill center section along with flush mounted led signal lights & 51 Meteor headlight bezels (for a frenched effect). (Bezels not in gallery pics)

2.Replacing stock 54 F100 dashboard with modified 57 F100 dashboard with
custom-made panel underneath to hold radio and switches.

3. 3” chop to the top

4. Removed vent windows.

5. Filled gas tank neck going through cab corner

6. Smoothed firewall.

7. Filled all body seams

8. Custom bed – 88-94 GMC Sierra narrowed 16 inches.
- 54 F100 fenders with 1 inch removed from front vertical measurement
(to pull down wheel opening) narrowed 5 inches and fitted to bed.
- Original wheel wells enlarged and tubs “eliminated”
- Home made inner walls with bead rolled design
- GMC taillights filled and 59 Cadillac bullets frenched in
- Stock GMC gas filler door sealed
- Upper and lower detail lines filled/eliminated
- Bottom rear corners tucked in 1 inch
- Home-made roll pan with license plate recess
- Gas tank filler cap – flush mount, pop up cap from Harley chopper
- Trick license plate lights from a custom chopper parts supplier
- Custom bumpers – 73 Camaro RS front bumperettes lengthed
4 inches each
- Tailgate – latch moved to inside and FORD script welded into
tailgate skin

(Bed mods will allow use of stock 54 F100 running boards if desired)
