The chrome version looks much better, the work truck doesn't look finished or something. Something just doesn't look right to me. But, that's just my $.02.Does anyone have pictures of both front end s, side by side ?

 

The XLs are goofy but the XLTs and up are the best looking trucks on the road for sure. Saw a new Chevy 2500 pull into the lumber yard today and it couldn't be uglier...must be the same designer as the Aztec. GM yet again tops itself for the worst designs in the Auto industry. I also love the embossed SD on the grille and tailgate. Can't wait to unload my '99 when my '08 comes in.

 

Actually (this is the honest truth) Pontiac hired a french woman to design the Aztek.

Unload your 99 for an 08? You don't have it in your sig, but I know there's a guy in the 7.3 forum looking for an extra cab diesel, if that's what you've got - search for "Big Green" and PM the guy

I'd agree with redford in that the F450 CC has a balanced look, but otherwise, ain't no WAY I'd give up my 99 for an 08. If my 99 were to be totalled and they gave me an 08, I'd sell it and look for a 99 - 01 7.3 - I think they've got the best lines, but hey, that's me, what do I know

Form follows function, in other words, beauty is defined by perfomance, for me. As long as it ain't nissan titan ugly, it just don't matter as long as it performs. I love the new look however, but not the embossed Superduty front and rear. I think that started on the Mustang. Didn't like it there either.

I just picked up my 08 R/C F250 last week and can't say I'm in love with the new front end either, but, most new designs seem funky at first and then start to grow on you after a few years. Guaranteed that in twenty years we'll be saying its a classic "old school" looking truck!!! Brian

 

Ford has the best looking truck around. As far as the Chebbies I think they climbed the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down

 

Nothing comes up for Big Green, only someone who posted years ago. Maybe I'm not searching right? BTW...I do have a 99 7.3

 

My guess is that it got repossessed since it still has tags on it.

 

Could be. It's not a deal either. Not sure if it's diesel. The advert says it 6.8L, but also says turbo diesel. Do the gassers have the dual exhaust tips?
