Yes, the injectors create the big pressure, but you have to get oil to them so that they can do that. If they have less oil than they were designed to compress, you will not have enough to put the entire fuel charge out at the higher pressure. If the fuel doesn't come out at high enough pressure, it won't atomize correctly and won't burn as efficently as it would otherwise. This makes more black smoke and less power.

Ballard are you saying we should just throw out our Hpop's because they are a waste of money? Want to buy mine? Would you rather have 1500 pounds of pressure acting on that plunger that will in turn make only 10500 pounds of pressure, or do you want a high performance setup capable of 3500+ psi giving you well over 24,000 psi?

BTS prefers to have his dealers install it but will walk you thru the install because there is a tricky part or two. Does anyone know anything about a DIY install for the Terminator?

There are 2 options for the Terminator tho. You mentioned one option but there is another option. For $2500 you can buy a unit with 2 pumps, return them your old "core". The way I see it, that unit can be bolted in like a normal HPOP but I don't know whether that is true or not.

as far as i know that's true. That's the route i took, two new reman pumps, that way my truck is not sitting for a week, plus my pump now is pretty weak. Can barely hold 2000psi on the 80 tune.

There seems to be some rumors and myths about the Stealth. I will try and settle some.

There has been over 140 Stealth Systems sold and installed, if any had an oil leak it was either a leaking line or installer error. I have never had one that I have installed leak. There has been some instances of a oil ine blowing out of one of the pumps, this makes for a really bad leak but is not the fault of the system but the fault of the crappy material the pump casings are made from.

Another myth, Stealth can not build pressures like another style pump. The Stealth pump system can build what ever psi your tuner calls for up to the pop off internally set in the pump its self. The pop off can be shimmed for more pressure like the other system does but we believe this to gain very little in the way of hp and can be detrimental to injs and engines in some cases. The pop off is there for a reason and we believe we should keep it that way. All you need is 3000psi for an engine to be at its peak performance.

Hope that helps, any other questions?

No, it theoretically should be able to produce as much as a comparable dual-pump system. Pick your configuration and price, and then go with it. Im sure once the hood is closed you couldn't really tell a difference between all 4 popular systems.

Nope, not here anyway. I was wondering if you were from the shop when I saw one of your other posts but I assume I could have checked your location. I gotta drop by sometime when I'm in that neck of the woods. Take care.

hmmm sounds like the stealth may just be what I get, The term sounds good and all but for 500 less or even 1000 less if I get the DIY kit is just so tempting.... but does the DIY kit come with everything or do i have to build hoses or somthing, the description is kind of confusing on the web site wether it comes with everything or not.
