I think 1 side of the piping may fit, but im not positive. You will also need the intake spyder from an early 99.

Here's some more links if your interested

http://www.gts-motorsports.com/icinstall.html

BTW.. The Hot pipe needs more work done to it for it to fit. A simple 3" extension on it should do the trick. This is displayed in the above links. The Cold side works pretty well too, just needs to be cut and turned a little.

Good Luck

Ask and ye shall recieve. Read all these links and you should be pretty well educated on this mod install. I would get a 6.o cooler. It is bigger and makes the air cooler.

What do you guys think of the IC being in front of the tranny cooler. Im looking at doing the same mod but was going to try to get the tranny cooler in front of the IC and put a electric fan on it.

Anyone done this?
Thanks
John

I have since upgraded to a 6.0 tranny cooler, and its about 2x as big
as the V10 cooler...(sorry no pics yet) but it works ALOT better...

i can tell on a 6.0 IC i had to the grill to fit back over the IC and on my truck with the 7.3 IC if you made your brackit for it i geuss you could get something behind it.but why would you want to put it behind it.if you have to replace it or fix a leak you would have to tear the front of the truck apart for a 5 min fix.

I'd put that tranny cooler infront of the i/c or below it somehow. On mine I have about an 3/8" gap between the i/c/ and the condenser.

If you move that i/c out any farther you are gonna half to do more work to your hood latch.

The main reason i was wanting it in front to let it get the most air. I figured the tranny cooler would work a lot better in front. And we all know the tranny needs all the help it can get.
