I've been thinking on this as I have a 99cooler.I haven't really looked closely or measured but could ya put on electronic fans, move the radiator closer to the engine and slip the cooler between the rad and support.Just thinking out loud. This would leave room for 6.0trans cooler out front.
i think you might have room to put the trans cooler in closest to the motor after the electric fans go on. that would be easier than making new brackets for the radiator
It looks like the tranny cooler will fit easily between the rad. and the a/c condensor ,I wasn't sure if it would cool enough after putting intercooler in front of everthing .
Still considering electric.
I remember seeing a program on "Shadetree Mechanic" couple of years ago ,they insalled an electronic clutch for the fan on a dodge.Haven't been able to find any one that sells them,I even did some googleing no luck.
I liked your setup, it looks clean and funtional. where did you buy the all parts for the intercooler?
Thanks in advance.
got the 6.oh cooler off ebay for $50, ordered the banks intercooler kit minus the IC straight from banks for $390 plus shipping (I have heard the price has gone up to around $550 plus) since then...
had to buy a few clamps, and hoses but the rest is home brew...
