Trans fluid leak
While traveling from Memphis to Chicago this weekend I had an unusual leak. Trans fluid was being pushed up the speedo cable & leaking from under the dash onto my feet. I noticed the fluid level was a little high, put it's still an odd scenario. It's a 1972 F-100, 302 C-4. A vent problem maybe? Any input would be appreciated.

But being over filled I would lower the level and see if it still does it. Almost sounds like the C4 is building up pressure and forcing it up the cable. Check to make sure the vent is not plugged up. It should look like a metal cap ( 3/8"). This should be loose a free of dirt and grease. I think there is a seal on the speedo drive.
