Rear Cab Mount Hardware
I am getting ready to do a cab swap on my 1968 F-350. Since it is an F-350 the rear cab mounts are located in the outside of the frame rails. When I look at the catalogs for the cab mounting bushing/bolt kits, it shows pictures of the F-100 style mounting with the cab mounts located on the crossmember inside of the frame rails. What I really need to know is if these bushings and hardware are the same for cabs with mounts on the inside or outside of the frame rails.

From what I have gathered it seems that F-100s and 2wd F-250s had the cab mounts on the inside of the frame rails, and 4wd F250s and F-350 have the cab mounts on the outside. What I really need to know is if the mounting hardware is the same no matter where the cab is mounted. Surely someone has to know with all the people out here restoring Highboys and other 4X4's. I know 73-up has the cab mounts on the outside. Is the mounting hardware the same for 73-79 the same as the hardware for 67-72 4wd F-250s and F-350s? This would be a great question for Numberdummy to figure out.
