Steve I do have to agree with Cody that the name changing and all is pretty hard to deal with most of the time. The humor or kidding doesn't come thru keyboards very well so it impossible to know when your joking or when your being disrespectful. Just my 2 cents.
Cody- "check book hot rod"..... that was funny!
Strokin- keep us posted. all this talk about the new way has me thinking about cutting some wires.
i am also very positive that y'all will like the resistor inline much better than the resistor stuffed in the plug. i was finally able to smoke some people out today, so that was pretty cool. i have also noticed that the truck is a lot less laggy. before when i had the 5.6k resistor in the plug it was quite laggy until the turbo finally wound up at around 2700 rpm. now i notice it goes to 2000 rpm and gets it. then around 25-2600 the turbo gets pretty loud. with the 5.6k i don't think it was doing a lot for my truck after 2nd and 3rd gear. i like this setup much more and it's a lot easier to change out.
Haha, believe it or not Im probably doin you a favor

hey steve, didn't i just see your thread on your BUSTED little check book hot rod? so guess what that means... that means that you couldn't come on down to the strip with us if you wanted to. if there is one thing that heats me up, it's someone tryin' to poke fun at the death row diesel name. kids at school do it and i've busted every one of them. so ummm steve that also means that your check book hot rod won't be able to run on the strip, which means catastrophic failure, which also means that you lose.
yep. if it was in good runnin' order it would whip all of us, but then again i don't quite think that we got as much cash as steve's got. but hey steve. one thing for ya....... don't mess with the DRD name anymore b/c like i said, it ticks me off a tad bit. cody has a thing about nicknames when he doesn't know people, trust me. i accidently did it once before we met and it was an awakening for me when i got that email back. i'm not raggin' on you or anything like that, but get to know someone and get to know whats up at DRD before you try out any nicknames.

You never said you had a problem with me pokin at the mighty Death Row Diesel name until Cody said something. So that means either one of two things A) you cant think for yourself or B) you cant confront somebody unless someone else does it for you. You decide But if you think for one second Im gonna sit hear and take a bunch of hash and trash from a bunch of unorganized redneck DRD inmates then you clearly have it all wrong. Cody and I have settled any beef between us. I'll go my way, you go yours. Thats how its gonna be, and evidentally thats how its always been between DRD and I.
You gotta pay to play son, if you havent learned that by know, or Cody hasn't told you that already then I suggest you learn it quick. Power dosn't come cheap. Just ask Luke, he's gone through numerous motors, trannies, etc., but the guy is now the owner of a reliable, high HP rig. Follower of Luke I am, a check book hot rod I am not.
