15.6k mod done!!

i did the 15.6k mod today and i have to say i am pretty happy. i got some good smoke with the 15.6k and no flatline power. i did a little test to see just how much more i got out of it. i drove until the odometer got to a XXXXXX.0 then stopped and launched and drove it hard until it got to .2. so i bet i went about .18 of a mile. i got to 78 mph in that stretch and i even had to go around a corner so i got out of it a little bit. i did get a rough idle twice, but that was it. Next saturday i'm takin' my truck to the strip with a couple other guys and i was wondering just how fast y'all think i would run. any ideas on simple mods to do before then?

You'll probably be in the 15 second range if I had to guess with your mods. Not much you can do without spending some coin.

cool, glad to hear you chose my method, hopefully the word spreads and other try it out, the power is realy unlocked in my method.
for your drag run you can add the resistor to the engine oil temp sensor for more timing advance, other than that you pretty much have the quick stuff done

Dont worry, I offered to bring my NWDPS crew down but they wouldn't have anything to do with it. Dang green mile inmates!

Travis and I are doing as much as we can for his truck. Yes, I have injectors for him. But I don't give them away. I give alot of stuff to my guys, but injectors ain't one of them. But he doesn't come to me for everything. He's pretty mechanicly inclined himself, as well as his brother. And unless you've been here, I doubt you've heard about the first thing that happens at DRD.

What???

Yes, I'm hosting an event for my guys. There ain't nothin' wannabe about it. Other than alot of people wannabe part of it but can't.

Whatever dude, I told you exactly what I could do for you. You wanted to come down here and have me install an intercooler on your 7.3. I told you that's a 4 day project by myself and that I'm not a business. And that time is extremely tight for me. And you never emailed back. So don't go saying stuff that isn't true. I still have the emails, and I will post them to prove my point. And as far as the "green mile" crap. I don't go calling your outfit northwest liars ***. or anything like that. Have some respect.

Wow, calm down ASAP. No bashing was meant by anymeans on my end whatsoever! I talked with Strokin in the 6.0vs7.3 thread about this little drag day your hostin. I offered to bring my crew down but he said it was a private deal as far as he knew. I was only flippin ya chit bro. You know your my country brother fromm another mother which is why Im suprised in reading about all this hostility your projecting my way......Weird! I still wanna come down and collect a Death Row Diesel Sticker( I like my green mile inmate name tho, you gotta admit that if you weren;t so heated you;d be laughin a little bit ) and stick a NWDPS on your rig. Arch Bishop, no harm meant

you could do the EOT mod and the IDM mod. Both are chep and from what ive heard will help make a few extra hp. IIRC the EOT mod was on baz's website. If you need i can dig up a link to the IDM mod.

Steve I'l be real honest and open with you right now. In my opinion "My Opinion" When you interject different words into someones name or sentance, it's disrespectful.
Example: Green mile inmates Example: this "little" drag day.......If you have never met someone and don't know them. You shouldn't be giving them nick names, or spouting out versions of their names that "you" find funny. It just ain't right.

As far as the event. Yes, it's private because I'm cooking for everyone before we go. And I want all my guys who haven't met to meet.

Hostility, no that's not hostility. And I'll even flip it around.

Steve, I'm personally inviting you AND your crew to the Death Row Drag Day. It's Sept. 22nd from 4pm till whenever. We will meet at my Oak Hill place for BBQ, and we'll leave from there to the strip. Now, bring your crew....If you show up, I'll put a Death Row sticker on every truck you want one on. Accomodations will be up to you and I will provide directions upon request.

There it is, the only thing stopping you from coming to Texas is nerve and air. We look forward to meeting you.
