I just purchased a 2007 HD F250, question is I found a key fob in the owners manual, it is a round black disk with a button in the center w/the Harley emblem. There is also a "key" that looks like you would use for a locking pin on the hitch (small and round) I have no clue what the heck this is for. Anyone have an idea?
Ya, I wish Ha Ha
No it's disk shaped about the size of a silver dollar all black with a button in the middle w/the harley logo. The key that is attached to the ring, is like one you would use for a spare tire cover lock or a locking hitch pin, of course I have neither on the truck. I did purchase it used pushing the button does nothing, at least that I can tell regardless if the truck is on or off. Guess I'll have to wait and see if my local dealer has a clue.
That sounds exactly like the two fob`s & keys for my harleys!!!!! The big harleys have the keys you describe,I used to call them the coke machine keys!
Good luck!
Yep, you guys were right. I'm mailing it back to the dealer so they can give it back to the Owner seeing as how I doubt he'd give me the bike that went with it. Ha Ha
