Remote Start Question
Anyone know how the remote start works?
A. Push the key fob Start, push key fob Unlock, get in turn the key to "Run"?
Or,
B. Push the key fob Start, push the key fob Unlock, open the door and the engine stops, put the key in and Re-Start?
I imagine there is also a difference in how it functions if you have Push Button Start too.
"B" is the dumbest way by having to start the engine twice.

I'm not certain, but I've read that they keyless system on the it is the intelligent access system. If so....the video below may be the system used. Not positive though. Maybe one of the other members knows for sure.

push the key fob to lock, push the start button twice, push unlock, or grab the handle to unlock, get in hit the brake turn they key, or hit the start button within 5 minutes. If you do anything else like hit the gas or try to shift into gear it kills the car. The fob on the right above is our fusions fob,

After watching the video. You can set it to run for 5-10-15 minutes before you get in and if you don't get in it shuts the engine off. I think this is a good deal on the diesels. When towing a load you can stop jump out then lock the doors and restart the engine to let it run for 5-10 minutes on the timer to cool down the turbo just like a turbo saver device.
