I know it's a little bit of a drive from Springfield, but if you don't have any other luck, call Dyn-A-Tech in Galena (KS, right be Joplin, MO). I had my 360 engine built into a 390 there about 6 years ago, had a similar crack, and John got me a "new" block for about $100. He didn't have any trouble finding it, either. 620-783-2662. Just adding to your options.

Thanks for the info Matt. I finally found a complete 360 with a virgin bore, minus the intake for $100 in Republic, MO. I will be picking the block up from the machine shop tomorrow. Are you in the AR/MO/KS/OK area?
